I purchased this 69 442 in the mid 1980's with a rusty body and the original drivetrain intact for $500. It took until 1992 to finish it. This photo was taken at the 1998 OCA nationals in Springfield Il. The car is painted the correct shade of red, the sunset at the time gives it the orange tint. Options include: AM/FM, power antenna, safety sentinal (speedminder speedometer), rear defogger, floor shifted auto transmission, 3.31 posi (Canadian built cars such as this one were equipped with Chevy 12 bolt rears), tilt column and sport wheel. I added a tic-toc-tach. The original 400 cu in engine is "stock appearing". At the dragstrip, with several "day of race" modifications (no headers or nitrous), the car's quarter mile et was 13.56 sec.

This 69 Hurst/Olds was purchased in December 1998. It spent the previous 12 years as a drag car. The car was not in running condition when I bought it. It did however, come with the original drivetrain and all the unique Hurst/Olds parts except for the intake manifold and air cleaner assembly. I have already located those missing items. This car is equipped with AM/FM, Ralley Pac, sport steering wheel, deluxe seat belts and 3.91 limited slip rear. I intend to restore it in a couple years. In the meantime, it has been returned to dragstrip duty. The best ET so far is a 11.92 @ 111.

1969 W31 Cutlass. A low mileage car with original paint. This car found me in 2000. It was purchased new for racing and was sponsored by Berejik Oldsmobile. 4.66 gears replaced the original 3.91's. No power options, radio delete, M21 Muncie with no console, black bucket seat interior. The only "luxury" options consist of speedminder speedometer, tilt column and remote mirror. As a bonus, the car has documentation. Click picture for more photos.

This is a progress picture of my current project, a 69 442 convertible. It's a 4-spd car with air conditioning and power: windows, antenna, trunk release, drivers bucket seat and locks. Also has tilt column, ralley pac, AM FM and 3.23 posi. It's a long slow process. Some more progress pictures can be seen if you click the photo. Those pictures include some quarterpanel replacement tips.

I bought this car site unseen on ebay. It's a good solid California car that needed a lot of cleaning and it was inexpensive. I don't care for the saffron yellow paint on a wagon, I plan to change the color when I repaint it. A/C, 310 HP 350 engine, two way rear gate, power rear window.

My FIRST car (circa 1976-1980, it's long gone). It was originally an Aztec gold Cutlass Supreme with gold bucket seat interior, floorshift automatic and the 350 engine. It had been moms car. I painted it brown, installed an in dash 8-track stereo, raised the rear a bit with air shocks (it was mandatory in the 70's), and put on those cool aluminum slot mags. Later came dual exhaust with glass packs. All was well until significant front end damage forced me to put on a new front clip. At this time I removed the Supreme side mouldings and painted the car maroon. In 1980 it received much more serious front end damage when I allowed my college roomates intoxicated brother to drive the car. The only photos I have of the car when it was maroon was after it was totaled. I really loved that car. It wasn't the fastest car, but it looked good and most importantly it meant freedom!

One I wish I still had: 1969 W30. This photo was taken at the Oldsmobile 100th birthday celebration in Lansing MI. In addition to the W-30 package, this car had the close ratio 4-speed trans, console and 3.91 limited slip rear. It was originally sold by Berejik Olds in Needham, MA. I owned the car for 17 years. My WORST car. I've had a bunch of junky parts cars, but this one was really shot (literally and figuratively). It used to be a triple black 442 bench seat 4-spd convertible with a/c. Due to severe rusting, it became something only Fred Flintstone could drive.
